LAGOS, NIGERIA – Popular Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe tied the knot with Kazim Adeoti, also known as Adekaz, in 2022, becoming his second wife.
While the marriage stirred conversations at the time, the actress has now opened up about the reasons behind her decision.
In a recent interview, Mercy explained: “One of the reasons I got married to him is that we are both in the same industry. Together, we are building a production empire. I just felt I needed someone to collaborate with in the industry, and it is a good thing that he understands it too. Combining our strengths, the future looks promising.”
For context, Mercy Aigbe has been married twice before. She was first married to an auto dealer – Lanre Gentry, before her union with Kazim Adeoti in January 2022, marking her third marriage.
