Stop Blackmailing Me – Epe LG Boss Tells Bloggers

EPE, EPE LG, LAGOS, NIGERIA – Surah Animashaun, the Chairperson of Epe Local Government Area in Lagos State, has called on bloggers and social media users to cease their alleged blackmail campaigns against her.

Speaking from the Epe Local Government Secretariat, she urged her detractors to focus on uplifting their communities rather than spreading falsehoods online.

Animashaun emphasized that the best way for bloggers to “dwarf” her achievements would be by making real contributions to the welfare of the people around them, rather than wasting their time on baseless attacks.

She criticized them for focusing on slander since before her inauguration two-and-a-half years ago.

In a bold challenge, Animashaun asked bloggers to clarify their motives and be transparent about their demands.

Animashaun urged them to tell their audience what they hope to gain from these blackmail efforts, asserting that the people of Epe have largely ignored the false narratives shared on social media.

Reaffirming her dedication to developing Epe, Animashaun expressed her determination to invest in the well-being of the local population rather than engage in the public smear campaigns.

The Epe LG Chairperson called on her critics to shift their focus toward positive community engagement and empowerment.
