ADO-ODO/OTA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – Over a hundred youth and women from the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency of Ogun State have successfully completed a two-day skill acquisition programme organized by Hon. Tunji Akinosi, FNSE, the Member representing Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
The programme, which was concluded on Friday, August 30, 2024, and focused on soap and perfume making, was carried out by the Industrial Arbitration and Panel Inditex Global Services Ltd.
Hon. Akinosi, who personally visited the training venue, expressed his satisfaction with the programme’s outcome and urged the participants to apply the skills and knowledge they gained to improve their economic situations.
He emphasized the importance of utilizing the grants provided to them effectively and encouraged them to continue building on the foundation laid during the training.
In his remarks, Akinosi, a former Ado-Odo/Ota LG Chairman and two times Commissioner in Ogun State, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for his people-centric interventions across the nation, noting that the success of his programme aligns with the President’s Renewed Hope agenda, which aims to empower Nigerians at all levels.
Each participant received a certificate of participation and a grant to support the start-up of their new ventures, further reinforcing the commitment of Hon. Akinosi to the economic empowerment of his constituents.
