The Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of StarTrend Int’l & www.startrendinternational.com, Elhadj AbuSatar Idowu Hamed on Monday April 29, 2019 received his Certificate of Participation from Mr. Adebayo Sanni. the Oracle Nigeria Country Managing Director at the company’s headquarters in Lagos.
Elhadj Hamed was among some entrepreneurs and youths that took part in the Oracle IoT, Blockchain, AI and Chatbots session that took place at the company’s headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. The programme was 2nd Silicon Valley – Nigeria Entrepreneur Development (SV-NED) Immersion Programme that was held between February & March 2018 at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
Mr. Adebayo who was represented by Mr. Lemy Dipor, the Sales Tech Director of Oracle Nigeria said that during the training session, SV-NED participants received lectures from experts in ICT from Oracle Nigeria, saying, “I’m happy that SV-NED participants conducted themselves in a good manner, and the lectures were well taken by them.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that participants in the 2nd SV-NED Immersion Programme have acquired more knowledge and exposure in Oracle IoT, Blockchain, AI and Chatbots that will make them to face any challenges in ICT, anywhere in the world,” Adebayo posited.
While commending the concerted efforts of Chief Temitope Ajayi, the Chairman/CEO of SV-NED Inc, USA, who organised the programme, Adebayo called on other Nigerians to use their positions to train the country’s youths in ICT, adding, “it’s now the in thing in the world.
“I urged every spere of government, corporate and individual establishments in the country to use the opportunity of the facilities at Oracle Nigeria to train and retrain their staffers in the latest world of ICT”, Adebayo said.
In his vote of thanks on behalf of the SV-NED participants, Elhadj AbuSatar Idowu Hamed, a veteran journalist noted that age is no barrier to learning, adding that the training has given him the opportunity to know more about ICT, the trending aspect of life.
“No doubt, throughout the programme which was handled by experts from the US, Oracle Nigeria, IBM Nigeria and HP Nigeria afforded me and other participants the opportunity to know acquire more knowledge in the art of ICT,” Hamed enthused.
Hamed expressed his gratitude and that of his colleagues to God for making the 2nd SV-NED Immersion Programme and the presentation of certificate of participation a huge success.
He also thanked the facilitators of the programme which include Chief Temitope Ajayi (Chairman/CEO, Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development SV-NED), Mr. Adepegba Oduntan (Initiative Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa, Oracle Nigeria and his team), Ms. Denise Williams (President/Co-Founder, Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development SV-NED) and HP Nigeria.
Others are Mr. Hayden Williams (Vice President, Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development), IBM Nigeria, Prof. Sam Haddad (a Professor Emeritus of Stanford University, USA), Mr. Sam Washington (an Executive of MPSPG, USA), Mr. Miguel Casillas (Executive Director,Menlo Park, California, USA), GTI and Nigerian Stock Exchange for their their concerted efforts towards making the programme a reality.
He prayed that God shall continue to guide and protect everyone of them.
Participants were later presented with their certificate one after the other include Mr. Adelowo Adebumiti, Mr. Akintoye Adeniyi, Elhadj AbuSatar Idowu Hamed, Mr. Ademola Olaife, Mr.Nwogu Success Uzodinma, Mr. Ademola Adetumininu Joy, Mr. Maxwell Olusegun Njarika, Mr. Oludare Shokunbi and Mr. Adeyinka Adeleke Ezekiel among others.
