ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – A delegation from Aries Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State on Saturday, May 25, 2024 visited the leadership of Yewa Youth Association for partnership and scholarship opportunities for young people of Yewaland.
The choice of Yewaland for the opportunities, according to the institution’s Admission Officer, Mr. Sami Abiodun W. who led the delegation, is to complement the passion of Yewa youth leadership to bring about seamless access to tertiary education as expressed in its different initiatives, the recent being the Free Jamb form to youths, secondary school coaching classes, among many others.
“We recognize the potential of Yewa youth and want to support their academic and leadership development,
“We believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of individuals and communities, and we are committed to empowering the next generation of leaders”, Mr. Sami noted.
Responding on behalf of Yewa Youths, Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe appreciated Aries Polytechnic for considering Yewa youths for its scholarship scheme.
He said many of the educational supports of the Yewa Youths Association were designed to ensure financial constraints do not hinder talented Yewa youth from pursuing their academic dreams and will work in tandem with the Polytechnic to ensure youths of Yewaland benefit from the opportunity.
The Polytechnic screening for interested Yewa students holds in July 2024. The institutions accept 120 and 150 for Commercial and Sciences courses respectively, and assistance to get JAMB regularization for prospective Yewa students.
