YYA Hosts NAYES National Leadership For Youth Development Talks In Yewaland (+photos)

toILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Yewa Youth Association (YYA) on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 welcomed the National leadership of the National Association of Yewa Students (NAYES) at the Yewa People Development Council (YPDC) Secretariat in Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State.

Commencing the dialogue, NAYES National President, Com. Faleru Peter, expressed gratitude to the YYA leadership for facilitating the visit and lauded their efforts in promoting education. He specifically praised their provision of free JAMB examination forms to Yewa students and ongoing tutorials and CBT training for JAMB students across various towns in Yewaland.

He enumerated some of the challenges faced by the student body such as lack of Secretariat, a financial aide for indigent students, logistics support for executive officers while NAYES Senate President enumerated some of the achievements of their leadership and the proposed programs.

In their separate remarks, YYA President, Com. Ayelaagbe; Publicity Secretary, Com. Olaniran and other stakeholders thanked the organization’s leadership for the visit and the encomium on landmark impacts of the Association since its inauguration by the Paramount Ruler of Yewaland years back.

They informed the delegation that the YPDC Chairman, Professor Rahman Bello had already approved the usage of its office as a provisional Secretariat for NAYES.

While assuring the delegation of inclusive leadership, the meeting charged NAYES leadership to up their games by making the organization more formidable on campuses and be rest assured of the support of YYA and YPDC as the mother body of all Pan-Yewa organizations in their initiatives geared towards the development of Students and/or young people of Yewaland, wherever they may be.
