ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE,NIGERIA – Alhaji (Chief) Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, the Oluomo of Yewaland, has described the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NP, as an exceptional law enforcement leader with remarkable intellect and managerial prowess.
Speaking at the private palace of Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Olugbenle MFR, the Olu of Ilaro & Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, during the official visit of IGP to Yewaland, Alhaji Dende Egungbohun lauded the IGP’s tenure for fostering improved police-civil relations and enhancing operational efficiency.
Highlighting the effectiveness of Egbetokun’s modern policing approach, Chief Egungbohun commended the emphasis on community engagement and local intelligence gathering, which has contributed to a significant reduction in banditry and kidnapping nationwide.
Expressing gratitude for the IGP’s visit, Chief Egungbohun underscored Egbetokun’s role in bolstering Nigeria’s security architecture and fostering peace and stability.
