StarTrend Int’l Mourns Loss Of Media Expert, Abdul Imoyo

LAGOS – Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of StarTrend Int’l magazine and online, AbuSatar Idowu Hamed, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of Mr. Abdul Kolawole Imoyo, a highly regarded corporate media manager and journalist.

Imoyo passed away early on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at First Cardiology in Ikoyi, Lagos, following a brief illness.

In a statement e-signed by Tunde Imoyo on behalf of the family, it was conveyed that Abdul Kolawole Imoyo, a beloved husband, father, brother, and Uncle, departed in the early hours of December 17, 2023, after a brief illness.

The family however requested privacy during this period of mourning and appreciated the prayers and support received.

AbuSatar Hamed, in a condolence message shared on social media, described the late Abdul Imoyo as a media expert of remarkable intelligence and managerial skill.

He highlighted Imoyo’s significant impact not only within his family, but also among media professionals who experienced his kindness and understanding.

Hamed prayed for divine rest for Imoyo and strength for his family to bear this profound loss.

Until his passing, Imoyo served as the Head of Media Relations at Access Holdings.
