ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE – Mr. Kayode Salako, President of the revered club in Ogun West, Recreation Club, Ilaro-Yewa, has offered condolences to fellow club members, mourning the loss of Chief Julius Olubisi Akinola.
Salako praised the late former President’s affable nature as he addressed club members who gathered early on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the clubhouse to bid a final farewell to Chief Olubisi Akinola, an esteemed club member and former President.
The memorial service in honor of Chief Bisi Akinola, the Baale of Ijado in Yewa South Local Government, Ogun State, took place at the Main Hall of the Recreation Club, Ilaro.
Salako underscored the profound impact of the Baale’s caring and compassionate demeanor towards club members, expressing the club’s profound sorrow at the loss.
He extended prayers for the peaceful rest of the departed soul and for fortitude to Chief Akinola’s wife, children, and the entire Akinola family to navigate this profound loss.
Chief Bisi Akinola, who passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the age of 65, served as the chairman of Baales in Yewa South LG and held the esteemed position of Secretary General of Baales in Ogun State.
His legacy remains cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family.
