How did you learn about the passing of your wife?
She was sick briefly and on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, I was with her in the hospital and left around 10p.m. But was called in the morning of the second day which was Wednesday, September 27, 2023, to be informed of her demise. Honestly, it was a black Wednesday to me.

Could you tell us how you and your wife first met?
We met through a friend at ibadan; she was 16years old then, and we court for 10 years and got married in 1989. That means I have known her for 44years.

Can we have an insight into your married life together?

She was an amiable wife, very loving and a good mother. In fact she was “Obinrin bi Okunrin”. Very industrious and loved by all.

What qualities or characteristics attracted you to her?
My wife was a beautiful woman and very knowledgeable. Friendly and have the fear of God.

Has her absence left a void in your life?
Yes, we have a school that she managed till her last day on eart We struggle together to accomplished all that we have in life. Hence her demise has left a void in my life.

Specifically, what will you miss most about your wife?
Everything about her, she was a fashioning person, hence her Chieftancy title of Yeye Meso of Erunwon, Ijebu.

Couold you describe the process and arrangements for the funeral, from the wake-keep to the reception?
It was fantastic, kudos to the children, the family and friends. It was a great one.

Kindly allow me to use this opportunity on behalf of the children and entire Adenuga family to thank those who shared from our pains, and also contributed to the final burial of our Amazon, caring mother, loving wife and God-Fearing woman.

Can you share with us your wife’s life and background?
Chief (Mrs) Princess Abiodun Abisola Adenuga was born into a polygamous family. A courageous woman and always speaks the truth. A devoted Christian, loving wife and a caring mother to behold.

Her burial rites started on Friday, October 27, 2023 with Service of Songs at her school – Little Saints Private School, Ogun State Housing Estate Corporation, Ota, Ogun State.

The burial service followed on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Church of Epiphany, Erunwon-Ijebu, while reception took place at Legan Hall, Opposite Equity Hotel, Chris Ogunbanjo Way, Erunwon-Ijebu.

Wole Adenuga was born in ibadan in the Fifties, and had his primary, secondary and University in Ibadan.

He got married Princess Abiodun Abisola on April 1, 1989, and the relationship is blessed with amiable and promising children.

He was installed the Lisoku of Erunwon-Ijebu; a High Chief and one of the Kingmakers of the ancient town.
