How Ganduje, Basiru Emerge APC National Chairman, Secretary

ABUJA: August 3, 2023 – The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress APC has confirmed the appointment of the immediate-past Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman of the party.

The party’s NEC which made the decision at the meeting at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja on Thursday, August 3, 2023 also appointed former Senate spokesman, Senator Ajibola Basiru, as National Secretary.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, chieftains of the party in the National Assembly, amongst others attended the 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party.

In his speech at the event, President Tinubu said the APC has won the elections and it is now time to deliver the promises of good governance to the Nigerian people.

The two party officials were elected during the 12th NEC meeting of the party.
