65th ALHAJI (HON.) ADEGOKE ADELABU (MHAWRN) MEMORIAL LECTURE HOLDS MARCH 25

IBADAN – The 65th Alhaji (Hon) Adegoke Adelabu MHAWRN) Memorial Lecture comes up on Saturday, March 25, 2023

According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l Magazine and online – www.startrendinternational.com by Snr. Chief ‘Lekan Alabi, the Maye Olubadan of Ibadanland, the event takes place at Mapo Hall, Oja Iba, Ibadan, Oyo State. Starting from 11.00am.

Guest Speaker at the programme is Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo, a former Governor of old Oyo State.

It would be recalled that Alhaji (Hon) Adelabu, alias “PENKELEMEESI”, a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who was Chairman of the now-defunct Ibadan District Council (IDC) and the Leader of Opposition in the defunct Western Nigeria House of Assembly, died in a road accident in the Remo area on the old Ibadan-Lagos Road, on March 25, 1958. He was aged 43.
