Bukka Hut Eatery Co-Founder, Laolu Martins Is Dead

LAGOS – The death has been announced of Mr. Laolu Martins, co-founder and Executive Director of Bhukka Hospitality Limited, owners of a restaurant chain, Bukka Hut.

According to a tweet on it’s official tweeter handle @BukkaHut, Bukka Hut, in a statement expressed sadness over the incident.

In the statement, Mr. Rasheed Jaiyeola, who’s the Managing Director of the company, described Martins as a strong pillar in the business.

The statement reads, “With a heavy heart we regret to announce the demise of one of our directors and co-owners, Mr. Olaolu Martins, who was until his death a key contributor and strong pillar to our business from inception to date. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones ”

At one of the restaurants on Herbert Macaulay Way, Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos State, it was scooped that normal business activities were ongoing on the premises on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Martins was an investment banking expert, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute Stockbrokers, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Association of Investment Advisers & Portfolio Managers.

Martins who died on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in the Lekki area of Lagos State was said to have served as an independent member of the Investment Committee of Skye Financial Services Limited.

However, observers of the scene we’re of the opinion that Martins was a happy man and cool headed, but couldn’t comprehend the circumstances surrounding his sudden death.

Some are asking that “was Martins suffering from depression that could have led to committing suicide”?

They said, “this man is doing well now and he just open a new branch at ikoyi mall. Let police investigate the matter well.

“Many people have been murdered and made to look like suicide.’
