ABUJA – The former Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly (1999-2003) and current Chairman of the Governing Board of Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Rt. Hon. Olusegun Bolanle Gbeleyi (OBG), has enjoined Nigerian Muslims in Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj and those at home, to offer prayers for the country.
According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l & online – www.startrendinternational.com by Hon. Gbeleyi, the ICT expert stated this in his greetings to Muslim faithful – both home and abroad – on the occasion of this year’s Eid- Adha celebration.
The Awori-born politician and a Chieftain of the APC in Ogun State stated that the prayer is necessary for the country to overcome the socio-economic and security challenges, adding that there was no other time that the country needed prayers so much, than during the transition of power at the helm of affairs.
OBG as he is fondly called also enjoined members and supporters of All Progressive Congress (APC) to remain committed to the party and work towards the success of the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the coming 2023 general elections.
