ILARO-YEWA – A call has gone to Muslim faithful not to allow the family bond to break through them.
Imam Tajudeen Mustapha-Adewunmi gave this advice on Saturday, July 9, 2022 during an interview with the StarTrend Int’l magazine shortly after he led the congregation on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Kabir (Ileya festival) prayer, held at the Ilaro Central Mosque prayer ground, Oke-Ela area of Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State.
The Islamic scholar who stated that there’s a curse from God on whoever is instrumental to the break of family bond urged all believers to always search and preach peace wherever they may be.
He also advises parents to always monitor their children from joining bad
gangs that could dent the family name or destroy their future, saying some children lack parental care which leads them to bad gangs such as rituals and cultism.
Imam Adewunmi was of the opinion that parents have a major role to play by monitoring their children and wards in whatever they are doing.
While urging the Muslim faithful to always treat animals very well, Imam Adewunmi noted that these creatures were also created like human beings, saying we should not abuse them in any way.
According to him, “these species were also creations of God like human beings and we should treat them humanly.”
Imam Adewunmi congratulates Muslim faithful for witnessing this year Eid-El-Kabir (Ileya festival), and prayed that they celebrate many years to come.
The cleric also prayed for Nigeria, Ogun State and Yewaland, including the leaders.
