Obey Thrilled Guests At Celebration Of Life For Late Olubadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji

IBADAN – The Juju musician, Professor (Evangelist) Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi MFR, alias “Chief Commander”, was on the bandstand with his Inter-Reformers Band on Saturday,12th February 12, 2022, at the Oyo State Government-sponsored “CELEBRATION OF LIFE”, in honour of the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogugunniso 1, who joined his ancestors on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

The ceremony was held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Oloye ‘Lekan Alabi, Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland and the first Culture Ambassador of the National Museum and Monuments, Ile Ife, was at the event.

Oloye Alabi also used the occasion to discussed the preparations for Obey’s 80th birthday celebration coming up in April this year.
He was the Chairman of the Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi 70th Birthday Planning Committee in 2010.
