POMP AS EVANGELIST EMILLIAN OLAWUMI OKENSON CLOCKS 50, PRAISES GOD AS DIGNITARIES SERENADE HER (Photos)

IBADAN – Head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church (CSMC), Ayo Nio o, Wire & Cable, Apata, Ibadan, Sp. Apostle Dr. Olusola Ogunsegun, has described Pastor (Mrs) Evangelist Emilian Olawunmi Okeson as a vessel of God who have dedicated her life to propagation of the gospel.
Ogunsegun stated this on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the reception for Pastor (Mrs) Evangelist Okeson on the occasion of her 50th birthday anniversary and album launch.

The cleric who was the chairman at the birthday reception glorified God in the life of the celebrant. He also commended her passion for the work of God through evangelism.

The Opening Prayer of the Thanksgiving Service for the celebrant which started on Friday, October 15, 2021 with praise night at the Cherubim & Seraphim Church (CSMC), Liberty District Headquarters, Oke-Ado ibadan was said by the Secretary of the Church, Special Apostle Evangelist John Adeyemi, followed with Bible reading by Mr. Charles Okenson, first son of the celebrant.

Thereafter, Praise and Worship session was performed by Pastor (Mrs) Crew Ministration.

The occasion was also used to marked birthday of the church Secretary, Special Apostle Evangelist John Adeyemi whose birthday was on Saturday, October 16, 2021. The surprised birthday was organized by Pastor (Mrs) Crew while Issac Adeleke Ogunbanwo invited Most Senior Apostle Prophet Abiodun Kashimawo to present the surprise birthday cake to Special Apostle Evangelist John Adeyemi.

After the cake presentation, one of the celebrant’s children, Miss Jane Okeson led the Praise Worship songs, and it was a nice performance from a young talented budding gospel singer.

Other singers that performed wonderfully well on the occasion included Marry Olobaloke, Bunmi Omole, Yasmin Eguaoje, Esther Falode, Taiwo Opalele and others.

After the worship songs, the celebrant was ushered in to take her seat. Thereafter, the Bible exhortation was done by Issac Adeleke Ogunbanwo while the Pastor-in-Charge of Holly Church of En-Hakkore, Pastor Bola Oyediran prayed to the offering.

Prophetic ministration was performed by Most Special Apostle Prophet Abiodun Kashimawo.

The popular gospel singer, Evangelist Sade Taiwo thrilled the audience throughout the Night Virgil with her superlative gospel music rendition.

The Thanksgiving Service took place on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the same CSMC auditorium, Liberty Road, Oke-Ado, Ibadan while the Pastor-in-Charge, Pastor Leke Ogunbanwo gave the sermon, titled: “Happy Day”.

The sermon was centered on living a happy life of giving positive value to the people and making impact on their lives. The preacher also highlighted the benefits of “Happy Day”.

In her speech on the occason, the celebrant, Pastor (Mrs) Evangelist Emilian Olawunmi Okenson recounted her journey in life and her rise to stardom as a chorister. She also highlighted the importance of walking with God, so as to enjoy the benefits of the “Happy Day” in life.

Senior Ministers of the CSMC also congratulated the celebrant on her 50th birthday celebration.

The celebrant and her husband alongside other senior prophets, choir members and church members later danced to the alter for thanksgiving where she gave special admonition to God for celebrating the milestone in good health.

Emilian who later gave a special gospel music rendition also expressed her gratitude to her husband for his support through the years. She also thanked the church for its unwavering support.

She was later presented with beautiful gift items by members of the church. The Thanksgiving Service was later crowned with the cutting of birthday cake and special prayers for the celebrant.

After the Thanksgiving Service, the celebrant and her well-wishers proceeded to Molete Baptist Church Hall, Molete, Ibadan for the reception where Sis. Jane Okenson read the biography of the celebrant.

Prominent clerics at the event also include SP. AP Femi Adeyemo, SP. AP Abiodun Kashimawo, SP. AP Olaojo, SP. AP Awe, SP. AP A. Ajisafe, Special Mother-in-Israel Tokunbo Ademosun, Deaconess Dorcas Adesola, Special Mother-in-Israel Oyeniyi, Special Apostle & Mrs Ogunsegun, Pastor & Mrs Ogunnaike and Mr. Isaac Adeleke among a host of others.

Renowned musicians, Soji Best and Olasam were also at the event to celebrate with Mrs. Emilian Okenson on her 50th birthday and the launch of her album.

Talking about the album, Pastor (Mrs) Evangelist Emilian Okenson disclosed that the songs in the album which speaks a lot about the sovereignty of God makes it a special rendition.

On the red carpet anchored by the Queen of red carpet, Fola Slim, many special guests interviewed at the event showered encomiums on the celebrant for her good deeds and wished her many more years in good health.

The celebrant first son, Mr. Charles Okenson gave the vote of thanks to rounded off the event while Apreel 1 Events TV covered the event.
