Day PCRC Honours Retired AIG Iliyasu

LAGOS – The recently retired AIG Ahmed Iliyasu psc(+) has been described as an outstanding officer who had left an enduring Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in Ogun State that is functional and proactive.

Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa who represented Senator Ibikunle Amosun at the event stated this on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Police Officer’s Mess in Ikeja, Lagos where Rtd. AIG Hamed Iliyasu was honoured as the Life Patron of PCRC in South-West.

Adeoluwa who was the former Secretary to the State Government in Ogun State recalled one of the prominent and laudable achievements of the  administration of AIG Iliyasu as the safe rescue of Senator Iyabo Anisulowo, who was kidnapped during his tenure as Commissioner of Police in Ogun State.

The event which was graced by dignitaries from far and near include Hon. Olusegun B. Gbeleyi, Emmanuel King, CEO, Adron Homes, Yeye Olaonipekun, AIG Ibrahim (rtd) from Kano, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Ogun State CP was represented by DCP Alamutu and CSP Adams Uba, Zone 2 (Zonal Monitoring Unit).

Amongst the organisers of the event that graced the occasion were Chairmen, PCRC for Ogun State and Lagos State, respectively, both their Deputies, the National Vice Chairman of PCRC for South West, Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan of Lagos State Security is for Life Committee, many DPOs and some business tycoons among others.
