The first Medical Director of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Late Dr. Babajide Adeyemi Adio Adeoye has been described as a professional medical practitioner who was well-trained and used his know!edge to the humanity.
Dr.Olukunle Obadina of Hossah Specialist Hospital, Ilaro, stated this on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the wake-keep ceremony of Late Dr. Jide Adeoye which took place at the deceased residence, Pahayi area of Ilaro-Yewa.
The medical specialist said since he knew Dr. Adeoye, he never seen him to be wanting, saying, “Adeoye was a professional to the core in the medical field, and I’m surprised about his death, because we never heard about him being sick.”
He further described the deceased as a kind-hearted man who love and took care of the aged and indigent people with all what he was blessed with, within and outside Ilaro.
Others who spoke at the ceremony described Dr. Babajide Adeoye as a God-fearing man and a philanthropist per excellence.
Dr. Babajide Adeoye who retired from the service of the FPI some years back died on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 72 and he is survived by a wife, many children and grand-children.
