ABEOKUTA – Plans are ongoing by Ogun state government to get mentally challenged persons of the roads.
The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Funmi Efuwape disclosed this on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 while presenting the Ministry’s 2021 Budget estimate before the Ogun State lawmakers.
Efuwape assured that the state government would deploy necessary measures to end the trend.

Defending the Ministry’s budget estimate for next year, the Commissioner said N429.4m was set aside for recurrent expenditure, just as N356m was being proposed for capital projects, while N9.9m was expected to be generated to government’s coffers in the next fiscal year.
