ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State House of Assembly has sent a stern warning to inciters of mayhem in the state, especially at motor parks to desist from the act or face the fury of the law.
The Assembly sounded the note of warning through its Committee on Transportation, led by the Vice Chairman, Abayomi Fasuwa while addressing representatives of the State’s Park Management Scheme, Ijebu-Igbo branch, Alhaji Wale Adebogun and other union members over the issue during its sitting at the Assembly complex in Abeokuta on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
The Committee specifically mentioned one Ogunyemi Olatunji and his cohorts who were alleged to be posing threat to the peace and tranquility of people at the more park in Ijebu North.
The Park Management had written a petition against Ogunyemi, accusing him of intimidating and perpetuating illicit acts at the said location.
The Assembly however assured that it would explore necessary mechanisms at maintaining peace across the state.
