LAGOS – The President & Founder of CMC Gladiators and Cornel Entertainment, Ambassador Cornell Udofia on Thursday, October 29, 2020, paid a solidarity visit to the management and staff of TVC Communications at the station’s headquarters in Lagos.

On hand to receive the delegation to the award-winning broadcast station was Babajide Kolade Otitoju, the Group Controller (Public and Current Affairs, TVC News) who also double as CMC’s youngest Patron.
Addressing the CMC members, Babajide who anchors the much-acclaimed Journalist Hangout narrated how the hoodlums invaded the building and set ablaze the station’s multi-billion naira studio.
He also took the delegation on an inspection in order to show the extent of damages perpetuated by the arsonists.
the Group Controller, TVC News further explained that the targeted fire attack on the TVC facility seemed premediated, saying, “Although nobody was physically hurt by the arsonists, some of the staff were badly hurt in the process of scampering for safety during the attacks.
” Forty four vehicles belonging to the station and some staff including Outside Broadcast (OB) Vans worth several millions were set ablaze by the attackers.”
The renowned actress and now a clergy, Ambassador Clarion Chukwura led the prayers for the entire TVC family.
After the prayers, Ambassador Cornel Udofia who delivered goodwill message on behalf of the entire CMC Gladiators Group condemned the destruction perpetuated by the hoodlums.
He stated that for anyone who aspires progress, it is wrong to destroy the wheel or emblem of progress. He prayed for the repose of the souls lost during the #endSARS protest. The United Nations Peace Ambassador urged the Government to quickly implement the demand of our youths in order to enable the country return to her path of greatness.
Presenting the letter titled: “Missive for Concern” on behalf of CMC was Ambassador Clarion Chukwura, a matron of the group.
In an emotional landing tone, Chukwura stated that the purpose of the visit of the CMC: ‘’As partners in progress and great supporter of the TVC brand, we are really saddened by the circumstances surrounding this rather unfortunate incidence.
“Quite distressing is the fact that world-class equipment belonging to the station running into billions of naira was set ablaze. We pray that you have the grace to bear the fortitude of the irreplaceable losses. Kindly convey this message to the Board of Directors, Management and the entire workteam of the TVC’’.
The Group Controller at TVC News, Babajide Kolade Otitoju expressed his deepest gratitude to the visiting team of the CMC.
