ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – Members of the Tailoring Association of Nigeria (TAN) from Oke-Ola and Ikosi Units in Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State, gathered to celebrate Chief Sebil Amoo Hamed, Chairman (Alaga) of TAN, Ogun State Chapter, during the 2024 Eid-El-Kabir festival.
Led by Mrs. Titilayo Okusanya, State Delegate of TAN, and Elder Ojugbele, Chairman of Yewa Zone, the group paid a courtesy visit to Chief Hamed at his residence in Ilaro-Yewa.
In his address of welcome, Chief Sebil Hamed expressed gratitude to the members for their steadfast support, both before and after his installation as Chairman in Abeokuta.
He emphasized the importance of sincerity and prompt service delivery among members, highlighting the crucial role of tailors in society.
“Our profession is indispensable to humanity, as clothing is essential to every individual,” Chief Hamed remarked. “Let us serve with sincerity and punctuality, recognizing that, after teachers, tailors have the largest impact on people’s lives.”
He assured the members that with their support and prayers, the association would reach new heights.
Chief Hamed commended the Ilaro and Yewa zone leaderships and other units for their active participation in meetings, urging those who have not yet joined to seize the opportunity.
Elder Ojugbele congratulated Chief Hamed on behalf of the Yewa Zone, expressing unwavering support and prayers for his successful leadership of TAN Ogun State.
The event concluded with assurances of continued support from all members towards the association’s prosperity and growth. Chief Hamed closed the event with a prayer for God’s blessings, guidance, and protection over all members and their families.
