ABA – The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been commended for his giant strides in the last two years of his administration in the state.
Ogun State Indigenous Progressive Forum, Abia State Chapter gave the commendation, noting that that Governor Abiodun has indeed been walking the talk by delivering the dividends of democracy to the nook and crannies of the state without discrimination in the spread of infrastructural development.
According to a release jointly e-signed by Mr. Taiwo Womiloju, President and Mr. Abiodun Idowu, Secretary, Ogun State Indigenous Progressive Forum, Abia State Chapter, and made available to StarTrend Int’l & online – www.startrendinternational.com by Mr. Ade Odusanya, PRO of the group, the association posited that Governor Abiodun had not only in his two years in office fulfilled his electoral promises, but ensured even development across the three senatorial districts of the state.
They wished the governor more years of successful tenure and happy 61st birthday.
Contributing, the BOT Chairman of the group, Elder Sonuga Adeleke praised Governor Abiodun for his commitment to promoting equal distribution of projects across the state and the implementation of laudable programmes.
Elder Sonuga disclosed that the association had continued to monitor the way and manner Governor Abiodun had been paddling the ship of the state and expressed their satisfaction with the peaceful atmosphere in the state as he wished the governor more successful strides at the helms of affairs.
The Secretary of the group, Mr. Abiodun Idowu who also spoke in the same vein noted that the association was planning to visit Governor Abiodun to express their solidarity support for his administration, adding, “we hope Governor Abiodun would oblige us the honour”
Idowu also disclosed that the association was formed to promote the rich culture and tradition of Ogun State in Abia State, saying, members of the group that spread across Abia State had remained peaceful with their host communities and were law abiding in their life styles.
