This year’s Yewa Cultural Festival holds special significance for several reasons. Firstly, it marks the first occasion where all Yewa communities unite under the YPDC umbrella to jointly organize a Mega Cultural Festival, showcasing their diverse cultural heritage and the unique expressions of Yewa culture, customs, and traditions in music, dance, folklore, cuisine, and attire.
Secondly, the event’s programme reflects the cultural diversity of a people with a shared destiny, emphasizing the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence, love, and social and economic prosperity for Yewaland’s indigenous and resident populations.
Most importantly, the 2023 Yewa Cultural Festival serves as an avenue for charting a course towards socio-economic revival. The proposed Economic Summit stands as a strategic pathway to drive the socio-economic development of Yewaland.
