ILARO-YEWA – A member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, representing Yewa South State Constituency, Hon. (Mrs.) Bola Ajayi has called on Muslims not to relent at praying for the peace and progress of the state and Nigeria at large.
Hon. Ajayi who made the call in her congratulatory message to Muslims on the occasion of this year Eid-el-kabir celebration stated that, prayers of the religious leaders and their followers was the grace that has kept the country together, especially at this period of coronavirus pandemic.
The lawmaker enjoined Muslims to use opportunity of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to move closer to God Almighty and pray for continue unity of the country.
Speaking further, Hon Ajayi urged people of her constituency and the Ogun state in general to give the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun the necessary support and cooperation needed to continue to lead the state.
She also urged people of the state to live responsively pointed out that coronavirus is real.
Ajayi noted that the only way to escape from the disease is to adhere strictly to all rules and guidelines stipulated by the government and NCDC, saying everyone should obey the rules as they celebrate Eid-el-kabir.
